Pet The Cat Kick The Wife

Posted by: DeDee

My husband is taking it harder than me about the store closing. It seems he comes home pets the cat and kicks the wife. (not literally). Hope he snaps outta this soon.

I understand, But gee his depressing mood is taking everyone elses good moods away. Maybe my apple crisp that the kids and I made today will help cheer him up.

In the mean time, I am getting back into the swing of things around here. Cleaning (gutting this house). I can't believe the lack in housekeeping that has been going on here. I even found an old apple core, bread crust and chip bags under the kids beds. The lectures went on and on about that! They have turned into little pigs, right before my eyes.

Other than cleaning this house into tip top shape. I have been busy being a stay at home mom again. Making Playdoe and baking with the kids. Today was apple crisp, chocolate cookies and granola bars.

I spent $50.00 today on all my baking goods. Opps! better keep that one from hubby. The way money is around here these days. I don't want him to look and feel like this next.

I can joke about this as my husband called me on his break and was in a much better mood today.

love the article hopefully it will be short on the depressing mood, keep on keeping on.

Yah I hope so. He hasn't slept in 3 days. Never seen him like this before.

I find it funny (not really) how when my husband gets in his moods it can affect the whole family. Next thing you know, we are all grouchy. That's usually when I break out the ice cream. Glad to hear he seemed better over the phone.

Hi Grumpy~

The same thing happend to father when his business went through a very "rough time."

My mother ended up being the one to keep things moving along.

He eventually DID come out of his slump, however.

Glad to hear you're staying positive and have been accomplishing some great things around the house.

You GO, girl!

Sending good thoughts your way!
